2012 Prayer Requests — [Answers Part 1]

While reading through some of the awesome stuff that the Lord has been speaking through Kars, I can’t help but to jump for joy in my Spirit..because I can’t help but to think that those revelations are somehow linked to the personal prayer requests he had made for the year.

And to distract myself from the oppression I’m feeling, decided to do a little puzzel matching :) So I dug up this old post.. http://agapemoments.tumblr.com/post/19579776418/old-note-4-point-prayer-list-jan-2012 Thank God for tags otherwise I would have easily missed the post :P

1st on his list -

  1. for me to get free from any laws I tend to place on myself

The ministry of the law is all about condemnation and more condemnation, it’s meant to deliver the knowledge of our imperfections and sins, so that we can look to God always for strength and supply. Hence if it’s meant to point us to God, we should all the more look to God for deliverance. We cannot trust in the confidence of our flesh, we are meant to operate in the Spirit. If we look to self for the answers, we can only find more faults and no resolutions. But if we look to Christ as the answer we need, we will find abundant life, liberty and enjoyment. Because it is no longer the I who live but Christ who lives. So obviously since our inner man is born-again as the Spirit of Christ, we have to operate by His Spirit which flows through intimacy of Love, of Grace, of Truth. There’s no other way and we have to accept that because we are married to Christ, we are His body, He is our Head, His life flows through us via the refreshing intimacy of His Spirit. This not an obligation but our reality, our delight! It is to our underserving advantage that Christ has died for us. And to God’s pure pleasure to see us restored to His image. Our honor, our glory, our reward, our blessing, our victory, our favor in CHRIST is far more glorious than the product of man’s effort from the cursed ground. Recently too we have been studying and meditating on the topic of our consciousness in Christ.. and I believe too that as we are more of conscious of Jesus’s grace, we will be less conscious of our self that comes with the demands and condemnation. But if we are provoked by any condemnation or accusation - that itch in our flesh to appease that sense of condemnation or to make peace with the accusations, that’s the invitation for us to revert our focus on His Grace which will lift our focus from the law but on the Man who has already fulfilled the law. The chastisement for our peace fell upon JESUS. The demand on us is not for us to fulfill but Christ;s Spirit. Those areas of accusations, are our qualifications for God’s redemptive grace. The ability to perform can either come by the flesh or by the Spirit. And having Jesus as our Wisdom, we choose to be led by the Spirit. Because the need for perfect justification has been and can only be met by the finished work of Christ. The devil enlarges our mistakes to distract us from the rest that we have in the finished work, he magnifies the bills of guilt and shame when all of that has been paid for by the crucification of Jesus. The answer for the law and condemantion is in the readily supplied blank cheque that is signed off by the blood of Christ. The Gift of Righteousness = Unmerited Favor. ‘I AM’ whatever we need Him to be at that very present moment.

The keyword answers are = consciousness of His righteousness (supply of favor & grace) as a new creation in Christ.

John 4:10 - Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

And these are the answers:

I find great joy in resting in Christ! I am complete in Him! I can live a life free from strife because He gave me His life. He has finished the work for me! He gave me His abundant zóé(God’s self-existent..) life (joh10:10). What more do I need to add to it? Nothing! Perfection is a GIFT. Holiness is a fruit. Believe in the new creation you are in Christ. Your old self has died, you’re no longer that old you, you’re a brand-new person now!
Do I need more faith? No! I already have His faith (gal2:20). This is a fruit of the Spirit (gal5:22-23) and you no longer live, but Christ lives in you (gal2:20) you can rest in Him, and faith will flow! Do you need more love, more peace, more joy? Does Christ lack any of these things? A struggling self isn’t me. I’m a new creature! That is dead to sin and alive to God (rom6:11). Any self-effort blocks the flow of the Spirit, because it tries to make perfect by the flesh, whats already complete in the Spirit. The flesh profits NOTHING, the Spirit gives LIFE (joh6:63). You have His life in you. When you rest in Him, in who you are, you will begin to see it manifest. To be spiritually minded is life and peace (rom8:6). Get out of the mindset of trying to become and start resting in who you are: the righteousness of God in Christ! (2 cor 5:21).

2 cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL things are become new.

gal2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but CHRIST LIVES IN ME: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Why do you think he put verse 21 behind that? Because anything that diminishes or takes away from this truth frustrates Gods grace, puts you back under religious burdens and makes Christ of no effect! (gal5:4)

col2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM, which is the head of all principality and power

heb10:14 For by one offering he hath PERFECTED FOR EVER them that are sanctified.

col1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you HOLY and UNBLAMABLE AND UNREPROVEABLE IN HIS SIGHT.

Just begin to believe it. You will see it :)

2 cor 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

gal5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

1 joh 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live (záō, coming from the word zōē – to live, experience God’s gift of life) through

It’s being established in the gift of righteousness that will make you reign in life (rom5:17), bold as a lion (prov28:1), fearless (1 joh 4:18) and far from oppression and terror (isa54:14). Free from fear of punishment and a yoke of slavery. Resting in the loving arms of Grace (eph3:19). Reigning in life is experiencing abundant zoe life (joh10:10), living through Him, the life we have in Christ! This free gift of life and righteousness is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Who died for us so that we might live through Him (1 joh 4:9). The spotless and perfect One who knew no sin, God has made to be sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 cor 5:21).
